Home Eye Area Care Mask Recipes

Take care of the skin around your eyes! But why?

Is it because it’s the most important part of our face?

Are our eyes one of the effective features when communicating with people?

Is the area around our eyes the most prominent area that shows whether we are tired or dynamic, unhappy or happy, old or young?

ABSOLUTELY YES!

The first signs of aging are the dark circles, wrinkles, and hollows that form around the eyes. To make the face look more dynamic and prevent deformities that come with age or can be structural, there are some care routines we need to follow.

In addition to the professional treatments you get for healthy and radiant eye contours, you can also preserve the healthy appearance of your under-eye area for many years with natural masks that you can easily prepare at home.

Therefore, I have prepared 10 types of eye area care mask recipes consisting of practical and economical natural products for you.

1. Cucumber and Rose Water Mask

Cucumber, rich in water, is essential for moisturizing and radiance of our skin, while rose water has a wonderful fragrance with its soothing properties.

Mix 1 teaspoon of chopped cucumber with 1 teaspoon of rose water. Apply the mixture on round cotton pads and place them under your eyes. After waiting for 10-15 minutes, rinse with lukewarm water.

2. Sweet Almond Oil and Honey

This mask will moisturize your eye area and help eliminate dark circles.

Mix 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil with 1 teaspoon of honey. Apply this mixture under the eyes and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse with lukewarm water. Apply twice a week for more effective results.

3. Potato Mask

It can be used for puffiness and dark circles. It is effective and very easy to make. Blend a small amount of potato and apply it under the eyes. Leave it on for 20 minutes and gently clean with lukewarm water.

4. Tea Bag Mask

Another way to combat puffiness around the eyes is the tea bag mask. The caffeine and antioxidants in tea will help reduce puffiness around your eyes. Put two steeped tea bags in the refrigerator. After 30 minutes, place the well-cooled bags under your eyes and leave them for 10 minutes. Then rinse your under-eye area gently with cold water.

5. Kiwi and Yogurt Mask

Mash 1 slice of kiwi and add 1 teaspoon of yogurt. Mix until it reaches a paste consistency. Apply under the eyes and leave on for 10 minutes then rinse off. Kiwi and yogurt create a wonderful blend. They moisturize, revitalize, and add some glow to the under-eye area.

6. Coffee Mask

It is one of my favorite masks suitable for all skin types.

Caffeine in coffee reduces puffiness and tiredness around the eyes. Mix well-ground coffee with 1 teaspoon of honey. Apply the mixture under the eyes and leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then rinse off.

7. Cocoa and Milk Cream Mask

Fight tiredness around your eyes with this recipe. Milk cream is great for moisturizing the under-eye area, and cocoa has a firming effect. Mix 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder with 1 teaspoon of milk cream. Apply under the eyes and leave it on for 20 minutes then rinse with lukewarm water.

8. Gelatin and Rose Water Mask

Gelatin is a rich source of collagen, which your skin needs. In addition to the under-eye creams you apply before bedtime, you can have a more dynamic eye area by applying this mask twice a week. Mix 1 teaspoon of gelatin with rose water. Apply the mixture under the eyes and leave it on until it dries, then rinse off.

9. Sweet Almond Oil and Parsley Mask

Parsley is a rich source of zinc. Sweet almond oil has intense moisturizing properties. You can try this recipe to moisturize and brighten your under-eye area. Blend a small amount of parsley and add 1 teaspoon of sweet almond oil. Apply the creamy mixture under the eyes and leave it on for 10 minutes. Then rinse off.

10. Avocado & Aloe Vera Mask

Avocado is a rich source of good fats, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytosterols. Aloe Vera has intense moisturizing properties. With this mixture, your under-eye area will be saturated with moisture and feel soft. Mix 1 teaspoon of avocado and 1 teaspoon of aloe vera until you get a creamy texture, then apply it around the eyes. Leave on for 15-20 minutes and then rinse off.

If we lived in a dark world, we would not need ironed clothes, combed hair, or makeup supplies. But come and see, tomorrow is in front of us with all its brightness. And we have to look good, to look beautiful, to have beautiful looks. Take good care of yourself.
